Hunter Care Group Supported Independent Living is based around building capacity with daily living skills and ensuring the accommodation is as homely as possible.
As part of encouraging healthy eating, residents at one of our homes wanted to start growing their own vegetables.
The boys proudly took this upon themselves with the assistance of their fantastic Support Workers, setting up the Veggie Patch and getting their hands dirty.
Little things make a difference, listening and creating not just a place for people with disability to live, but making it a home.
Special thanks to our support staff for making this happen, you are superstars.
