This past weekend marked an incredible milestone for Christina as she crossed the finish line of the City2Surf once again. ❤
In 2018, Christina was diagnosed with a degenerative eyesight condition, and more recently her vision has declined to the point where she is living with significant vision loss. Despite this challenge, Christina has never stopped setting herself goals and working hard to achieve them. ✅
With weekly training support from her support worker Grace, and guided on race day by a family friend, Christina completed the 14 km course in heavy rain, her first City2Surf since her diagnosis. 🏃♀️💪
Despite the heavy rain, Christina crossed the finish line with a huge smile and a sense of accomplishment!
