One of our Support Workers Shane, has been going above and beyond to help a young man that he has been supporting 
This young man has Autism and Shane has been getting him out in the community, teaching him water safety and getting him involved in swimming activities 
They also go fishing together and recently they caught their first fish 
Shane has built a great connection with this young man.
They are currently working together to learn how to improve and manage emotions whilst engaging in sensory based activities 
Together, they have also started reading storybooks (improving literacy and stimulating cognitive thinking), going to the playground and exploring the wilderness
