Our SIL homes have been getting into the baking spirit and escaping the winter blues with our annual friendly capacity building challenge, The Great HCG SIL Bake Off! ❄️👩🍳
Residents across our homes got involved in planning, baking, helping in the kitchen, and sharing their delicious creations with housemates and staff. From cakes and slices to creative desserts and sweet treats, the effort and teamwork on display was fantastic. 👏🎂
Events like this are about so much more than baking. They help build everyday life skills at home, encourage teamwork and communication, and create opportunities for residents to build confidence in a fun and supportive environment. 💙
There were plenty of laughs, lots of creativity, and some seriously impressive baking talents shown across the homes.
