Following the success of our last challenge, The Great HCG Supported Independent Living Bake Off is back!
Once again, residents across our SIL homes donned their aprons, rolled up their sleeves and worked together to create some seriously impressive treats. 🎂🍪
While there is always plenty of fun involved, these challenges have a bigger purpose. Planning what to make, shopping for ingredients, following recipes and working together in the kitchen are all opportunities to build everyday skills and capacity in a supported environment.
They also bring our homes together. There is plenty of teamwork, creativity, laughs and friendly competition, all with something delicious waiting at the finish line! 👏😋
A huge well done to all of our residents who got involved and to our SIL teams for supporting everyone to take part. We absolutely love seeing the pride in the finished creations. 💙
